STRATEGIC VISIONING AND PLANNING We support your organization’s leader(s) in furthering the strategic vision and institutional commitments made in recent strategic plan or grant awards. The consultant provides strategic support by coordinating and facilitating brainstorming and planning sessions that accelerate the implementation of the vision. Through concentrated coordination, the consultant will drive the production of strategies and action plans that ensure plan implementation efforts match the long-term organizational goals and accelerate progress. Deliverables could include:
Advising and quality improvement reports on strategic plan’s process implementation,
Producing written ideas and plans for the execution of strategic projects,
Creating new work tools, processes and/or procedures for staff to carry out strategic project plans,
Ensuring a detailed emphasis is on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is core to all plan developments and outcomes,
Developing internal system and partnership profiles that cultivates and guides partnership development and management across the organization,
Developing as a strategic linkage system between business development and project implementation processes that will identify, shape, and validate project pipelines or partnership opportunities.
STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT We support your organization’s leader(s) in furthering its strategy outlined in previously awarded grants or current programs for effective and efficient implementation. The consultant shall provide concentrated coordination with the internal team to ensure grant deliverables are outlined in a strategic framework that connects to the entire organization and meets the needs of grant funders and community.
Deliverables could include:
Producing written strategies for the execution of the project,
Ensuring a detailed emphasis is on Health Equity and addressing Social Determinants of Health is core to all plan developments and outcomes,
Developing partnership roster and profiles that cultivates and guides partnership development and management for project,
Developing strategic linkages between the project and other services provided by the organization and its partners.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT We support your organizational leader(s) as a “special” project manager to assist in responding to episodic external events that have major impact for the organization. A project is defined as an event of temporary duration. Project manager would direct and coordinate the implementation of the project. Deliverables could include:
Establishing a short-term project from the office of the CEO/organizational leader,
Developing and deploying special project plan that includes timeline and resource needs,
Managing and updating project plan with involved team, and
Creating applicable project work tools, processes, resources/materials and reports
PUBLIC HEALTH SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT AND PROGRAM ADVISING We support your organization’s leader(s) in providing targeted support for its Program Directors/Leads working to establish and operationalize the organization’s project management framework (processes and procedures) in order to implement current or new projects or programs. Consultant would work with the leadership team to develop permeance of core program infrastructure that drives sustainability of program resources and impact.
Deliverables could include:
Facilitating leadership team discussions that establish and operationalize the guiding project management principles and framework across all programs,
Providing expertise and knowledge of implementing Public Health programs for the use and incorporation in the program by the team,
Supporting the development of operational tools for project management (work plans, reports, grant development),
Facilitating bi-directional transfer and exchange of information across projects that address unmet needs, resolve resource disconnects and align results for next steps, and
Advising on, reviewing, and editing program development plans and reports.
HEALTH EQUITY PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT We support your organization’s leader(s) in developing core principles and strategies that promotes and increases Health Equity throughout projects and programs for the organization.
Deliverables could include:
Facilitating and/or participate in organization’s team/leadership meetings to develop principles and strategies for consideration by team and approvals by leadership,
Developing core documents that outlines the organization’s core principles, values and goals that promote and increase Health Equity, and
Creating applicable project resources/materials and tools for implementation.
